In an age where there are never enough hours in the day to juggle the career, the kids and the chores, there is finally a company that can help you cross all those to-dos off your list.

East Lake Errands, owned by Jim Boyer and Kathy LeFebvre, provides a helping hand to those who need assistance getting those pesky little errands accomplished. From picking up the dry cleaning to grocery shopping, the folks at East Lake Errands can help simplify your life and allow you more time to focus on the things that really matter.

After working for big corporations for many years, both Boyer and LeFebvre felt the need to reinvent themselves and their business models.

“While working, we realized that there is just not enough time in the day to get it all done,” LeFebvre said. “We knew others were dealing with the same issues.”

It was this everyday concept that launched East Lake Errands into business this past July.

What Can East Lake Errands Do For You?

Offering an array of services from personal concierge to senior service and property management assistance, Boyer and LeFebvre take pride in delivering personal, committed and trusted help that customers can count on.

“A prime example of the assistance that East Lake Errands can provide would be if you have a meeting at work and the plumber needs to get into your house that day. We can meet the plumber for you and relay to you what is going on so you can keep your work obligations and take care of the business at home,” LeFebvre said.

Customers of East Lake Errands include business professionals, busy parents, retirees who may no longer drive, family members of seniors living in nursing homes and assistant living facilities, property managers, realtors, snow-birds, vacationers and even those who may have recently had surgery that are not as mobile as usual.

Personal errands and concierge services include grocery shopping, post office runs, home meal delivery and pharmacy pick-up and drop-offs. Click here for a complete list of personal services.

Senior services include personal shopping, Medicare form assistance and insurance form assistance. Click here for a complete list of senior services.

Property management services include turning on/off of utilities, post-storm inspections and houseplant care. Click here for a complete list of property management services.

While Boyer and LeFebvre get lots of requests for transportation services, they are currently not able to accommodate them due to insurance liabilities. “As the business grows, transportation will be included in our services,” said LeFebvre.

Each errand takes about one hour to complete, and the base rate is $20 per hour, with a one-hour minimum. Rates thereafter can be broken down into 15-minute increments. Customized rates are available for groups and monthly reoccurring services.
