East Lake High quarterback Pete DiNovo continues to rack up records.
Dinovo set Pinellas County's single-season passing record in a playoff win over Treasure Coast last week, the Tampa Bay Times reports in its Home Team blog.
DiNovo has unofficially thrown for 2,459 yards this season, according to the blog. He's already set the all-time county mark with 6,000 in his career, and also holds the Pinellas record for career touchdown passes.
DiNovo has committed to play for the University of Central Florida next season. He and the Eagles (10-1) host Vero Beach on Friday in a regional semifinal.
