Current of Tampa Bay, Inc. Introduces Complimentary Laundry Service to Dunedin Residents

DUNEDIN, Fla. - (Mar. 27, 2014) – Current of Tampa Bay, Inc. is introducing its Laundry Project to Dunedin residents Saturday, Mar. 29. The project provides low-income families the necessary items needed to wash their clothes.  The event takes place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Dunedin Laundromat located at 606 Union Street in Dunedin, Florida.

This is Current’s first Landry Project in Dunedin and their volunteers are excited and ready to serve. “We host Laundry Projects almost monthly, and continue to get excited with each new location,” said Jason Sowell, President of Current of Tampa Bay. Inc. “As we continue to expand, we’re able to help more and more families with getting clean laundry, a luxury often taken for granted.”

As part of their Serve + Renew weekend, the project’s sponsor, Grace Church of Dunedin, is providing the volunteers and funding for this project. Community members may also contribute donations the day of the event of much needed supplies including detergent, quarters (rolls of $10), one-gallon Ziploc bags, garbage bags, coloring books, crayons, fabric softener and laundry baskets. More information about this and other upcoming projects can be found online at www.LaundrybyCurrent.org
