Folk Music Festival Saturday in Largo

Enjoy a day of folk music and festivities on Saturday at Heritage Village.

The Pinellas Folk Festival returns to Largo's Heritage Village Jan. 26.

The one-day event features premier Tampa Bay area folk musicians sharing traditional folk, gospel, country and bluegrass music. 

Musicians include St. Pete Shanties, the Keystone Gospel Group, Carmen Brandy, Juniper and the Native American Flute Circle. Alternating blue grass and folk jam sessions will keep the music playing throughout the event.

Beyond the music, the festival features dancers, storytellers, model trains, traditional craft demonstrations and antique cars. 

The event's food court will sell a wide selection of food such as Philly cheese steak sandwiches, Indian fried bread, chicken platters, hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream and kettle corn.

  • Where: Heritage Village, 11905 125th St. North, Largo
  • When: Saturday, Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Parking: Free parking and shuttle to festival entrance is on 119th Street between Ulmerton and Walsingham roads
  • Cost: $5 suggested donation for adults, children under 12 are free
