Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives are looking for the public's help identifying a man seen riding a bicycle stolen from the garage of a Palm Harbor resident.

Detectives say that someone stole a wallet from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a private home in unincorporated Palm Harbor overnight on Sept. 3-4. Two bicycles were also stolen from the person's open garage.

A few days later, on Sept. 6, a white man with dark hair was seen riding what is believed to be one of the stolen bicycles in the area of East Lake and Tampa Road, according to detectives.

The man was wearing dark gray shorts, white tennis shoes and a backpack. He was not wearing a shirt, authorities say.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information on the burglary to call Detective Alan Clark of the burglary and pawn unit at 727-582-6200. To remain anonymous and become eligible for a reward, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS or www.crimestoppersofpinellas.org.
