East Lake Softball Falls to Palm Harbor University
The Hurricanes defeated East Lake 10 - 4 Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
The East Lake High softball team fell to rival Palm Harbor University Wednesday 10 - 4, according to a report by the Tampa Bay Times.
The Times reports the Hurricanes have not lost to another team from Pinellas County in more than two years.
"Our girls were really ready to play this game,” Hurricanes coach Kerry Katchuk said. “… I would’ve thought maybe we would score 10 runs, but I didn’t think we’d hold them to four. They are a good hitting team. I thought maybe it would be 10-9 or something like that.”
