Volunteer Honored for Work at East Lake Woodlands Tennis Tournament
Christopher Wyman was named USTA Florida Tennis Volunteer of the Month.
A Palm Harbor man is being recognized for his role volunteering at the East Lake Woodlands Tournament of Champions. Christopher Wyman was named USTA Florida Tennis Volunteer of the Month.
More than 150 players participated in the Tournament of Champions. The event raised $13,000 for the Suncoast Tennis Federation which is in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.
"It is the primary fundraiser for the Suncoast Tennis Federation, and requires more than 20 hours of preparation work," Wyman told USTA.

Tasks including helping organize player goodie bags, setting up for the draw/player party, registering participants and distributing player bags, selling raffle tickets, sorting auction and raffle winners, and Wyman "helping out wherever an extra set of hands were needed," the USTA reported on its website.
