Would You Cluck for Free Chicken?: That’s the question Pollo Tropical plans to get an answer to on Monday, Sept. 16. In honor of National Chicken Lover’s Day, the eatery is offering a free lunch to patrons who come in dressed head to toe in yellow. There’s another catch: You have to be willing to cluck for a meal. Free Parking: Love visiting Channelside, but hate paying for parking? Between now and Jan. 2, you can park for free on Garrison Street, according to the Tampa Bay Times. An Ounce of Prevention: After the death of a toddler at a Tampa park, city officials there are considering fencing water features in public parks to prevent drowning deaths, according to TBO.com. All told, the city’s parks boast about 38.5 miles of waterfront. What do you think of the notion?
